Heading back to Australian shores in October to play two very special shows in Melbourne and Sydney is New Zealand’s finest Shapeshifter. Having a world-class reputation for their live show, Shapeshifter promise everything from soaring soul, high octane rock, future shock electronica to pulsating jungle music and everything in between. Coupled with with lights and visuals that bedazzle and sonics that will vibrate every fibre of your being!
Today also sees Shapeshifter release their new video clip for ‘Oculus’, shot by Mark Russell (Renegade Peach) the clip features dancers from the IDentity Dance Crew in various locations around Christchurch. The video gives insight to the devastation to their home down due to recent earthquakes, while also being a jopyous celebration of their city’s fighting spirit and triumph over adversity.
The October Australian shows will not only revisit Shapeshifter’s back catalogue but also be the first chance to hear brand new tracks from their forthcoming E.P, including ‘Break Me Down’, a live favourite which was co-written in London with Nextmen legend Brad “Baloo” Ellis (Wilkinson, Leona Lewis, Little Mix).
New Zealand’s premiere live electronic act, Shapeshifter are festival favourites, having played the likes of Big Day Out, Glastonbury, The Big Chill and Parklife.
