About Reuben StoneArtist Enquiry | Official Website
Drenched in dub, shredded with metal, uprooted by the funk, Reuben Stone has defined his sound drawing influences from various acoustic and electronic semblances. A multi instrumentalist defiantly layering guitar, bass, trombone, beat boxing, melodica, and a synthesizer in loop sections to create entire songs on the fly. A landscape of soulful undertones tightly packed with chunky beats, fused with ambient vocals and dub delays; born in NZ, molded on the streets of Melbourne, honed around the world. Reuben keeps on delivering to packed out shows throughout Australia, Northern America, Europe, the UK and Asia. Having just released an album recorded on the street at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh Scotland. Reuben’s prospects for the future are vast with a colossal eye for collaborating amongst Australia’s top touring acts and spreading his street approach to large-scale festivals, already crossing of the list, festivals such as Burning Man, Rainbow Serpent, Shambhala, The Town, Yemaya Festival, and the Singapore Grand Prix.
Reuben has shared the stage with the likes of Tash Sultana, Pharrell, Bonjah, Sea Sick Steve, and Dub FX. Follow him on social media to catch his musical journey as it unfolds.
