About Maddy Jane

Artist Enquiry

Maddy is 22 years old from Tasmania, writing songs far beyond her years on a beat up guitar her mum gave her in high school.

The independent artist grew up on Bruny Island where she developed a love of music and songwriting.

“I’ve been writing songs since my mum gave me a shitty Yamaha acoustic guitar that I stuck shells on… I remember sitting out on the swing as a kid of an evening singing random stuff out to the Alonnah jetty on Bruny”

Maddy has recently garnered attention with her debut single 'Drown It Out' receiving full rotation from national broadcaster triple j.

After wowing audiences on a national tour supporting Kingswood, Maddy has kicked off another lap of the country as main support for Polish Club, before joining Tash Sultana for a sold-out show in her hometown of Hobart, leading into yet another national run supporting Luca Brasi through June.

Brand new single ‘No Other Way’ is out on May 19.
