The band won Triple J’s, ‘Light Your Fuse’ (over 500 entries) and Bluesfest organizer, Peter Noble discovered them at the event and invited them to feature at his festival in Byron Bay later that month. They played to a 6,000+ strong audience as one of their first ever performances together.

Releases include: Learn Your Routes EP 2006, Not For Love or Money in 2009 (first album produced by Forrester Savell, (Karnivool, Helmet) and their second album, Sound Painter 2013.

The band have gone onto play well over 600 shows together and countless festivals around the world including Big Day Out, Falls Fest, Pyramid Rock, Festival of the Sun, Apollo Bay, Queenscliff Music Fest, Southbound & Point Nepean and various international festivals; Blues Passions, Crazy Week, International Earth Day (Canada) & Les Nuits de La Guitare de Patrimonio (FR) to name a few.

In 2010 lead singer, Dallas fronted Midnight Oil in support of Amnesty in Sydney featuring Brian Ritchie on bass (Violent Femmes), and in same year a collaboration was released with Xavier Rudd; Mavis Staples’ song, ‘My Own Eyes’.

After much build, anticipation, blood, sweat and tears, their second album, “Sound Painter” was released in Australia in 2012 (Europe 2013) and has taken the band right across the globe including: U.K, France, Switzerland, Canada and the U.S.A. The record was recorded in Brooklyn, New York by well-known Aussie producer, Andy Baldwin (Living End, Cat Empire, Bjork).

Lead single ‘All My Love’ carved the way, blasting out across Australian radio waves and in 2012 came third (over 16,000 entries) in the AAA category of the International Songwriting Competition (ISC), judged by Ozzy Osbourne, Tori Amos, Janelle Monae, Tom Waits, Basement Jaxx. The song also reached the top ten charts in the Czech Rep in October 2013 when covered by Universal signed, 19yr old, Lenny.

In 2013, Dallas Frasca signed to French label, Verycords. Zane Rosanoski (ex- Mammal) joined the three piece early 2013 and in July played to a 50,000+ strong crowd in Le Mans in France as a part of the 24hr Circuit race, and have been since labeled by the Europeans as “the next AC/DC“. They have completed three European tours this year and support slots have included Patti Smith, Earth, Wind & Fire, Aerosmith, Billy Joel, Van Halen, The Tea Party and festivals all throughout Europe and the U.K alongside 30 Seconds to Mars, The Hives, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Ben Harper, Erykah Badu, Sinead O’Connor and many more.

In 2010 Dallas Frasca won ‘Artist of the Year’ at the Australian Independent Music Awards and also took home an award in ‘blues and roots’ category for their song, ‘Thank You For Making Me Who I Am’. Their songs have been included in countless surf films and animal rights campaigns and more notably their song, ‘Amongst The Leaves’ in the 2011 Australian film, ‘A Heartbeat Away’.

The band have played countless charity events for the Sea Shepherd amongst others, and were invited by BBC to perform as a one of 7 artists from the 7 continents on the planet for International Earth Day in Montreal, Canada in 2009 to represent Australia. The band recently also opened Bob Irwin’s Wildlife Sanctuary in Brisbane alongside Slash (Guns n Roses) that made worldwide news headlines in 2012.
